Why Do the Disciples Need Faith?
Why did the disciples ask the Lord to increase their faith? The answer is found just prior to today’s reading in the Gospel of Luke. The Lord just told them that should your brother wrong you seven times and repent seven times, you are obligated to forgive him seven times. It is not faith that the disciples need, but unconditional love.
