The Mass Book for 2015 will open on Tuesday, July 22nd at 8:30 AM. Beginning that day you may stop by the office or call to place your Mass intentions. For those calling, we ask that you do so after 2:00 PM only so that the secretary can accommodate those who come in to the office in the morning.
The parish Mass Book with the availability of Masses for intentions has become a serious problem. With over 2600 families and a modest number of Masses available (especially) on weekends, it has become increasingly difficult to meet the demand for intentioned Masses. In an attempt to resolve this problem, I have implemented the following guidelines:
1. Each family may reserve a maximum of TWO Saturday or Sunday Masses and THREE weekday Masses for any given intention.
2. A maximum of two family names may be used for any given intention;
3. No one may reserve Masses for any household/ family beyond one’s one (e.g., you may not reserve intentions for your sister’s family);
4. Only proper names can be used (can’t use Mike instead of Michael)…nicknames may not be used.
I would also encourage families to offer intentions for “The Deceased Members of the ______________Family.”
The offering for a weekday Mass is $10.00 and the weekend Mass is $25.00.
