Our Religious Education Program Change
Mr. Robert Ferri has resigned as Director of the Religious Education Program. I, like you, was most disappointed in his decision. He has done a fine job in giving new direction to our Parish Religious Education Program. He will be deeply missed and deserves our praise and our gratitude.
I am very happy and blessed to announce that Mrs. Deanna Marinucci will assume the role of coordinator of Religious Education. Deanna has a master’s degree in education and administration and teaches high school in Seekonk, MA and has been involved in our Parish Religious Program for over ten years.
She is a most capable individual and I am delighted that she is willing to step in and work with our program.
She will function in tandem with Mrs. Michelle Colgan-Larney who is the Pastoral Assistant for the Parish. Michelle will oversee the mechanics of this program while Deanna will assume responsibilities for the teachers and classes.
Because this change is taking place more quickly than anticipated I am canceling all classes for this coming week. The following week there are no scheduled classes except for Confirmation One on Wednesday, January 21st. That class will take place as planned.
On Sunday, January 25th, all classes will resume as scheduled.
